Located on the edge of Big Lake in the beautiful Skagit County, the Big Lake Church of the Nazarene stands as a beacon of faith and hope. Founded as American Sunday School in 1922, the church has served as a centerpiece to the community welcoming one and all to worship and celebrate with one another in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Big Lake Nazarene Church is easy to locate as it is just off of highway 9 near Mount Vernon as well as Sedro-Woolley. Sunday services include worshiping through music as well as a bible based messages delivered by pastor Dennis Spinnie. As a church, we aspire to make Jesus known in the community and shine the light of Jesus throughout the lives of all those we come into contact with. Anyone is welcome to join us for services and get involved in the various activities we provide for the community. If for no other reason, come for the free donuts and coffee!

Small Groups Meet Throughout The Week
Christmas Sunday
Christmas Service—December 21 at 10 am
Come celebrate the birth of Jesus with through a Children’s Christmas program. We will be singing Christmas carols, lighting the Advent candles and then at the end of the service lighting the Christ candle and placing Baby Jesus in the manger. Following the service there will be refreshments.
New Year’s Eve
Bunco Party beginning at 6:00 pm
We will have a great time playing a few rounds of Bunco and then heading home before the clock strikes midnight. Come join us for snacks and Bunco fun!

Community coffee time
Community Coffee Time is now meeting every other Thursday at 7:30 a.m. It is a chance to catch up with neighbors and friends face to face while making new friends along the way. Come and drop in. Next one will be June 5 and 19; July 3,17and 31; August 14 and 28.
Fire Department Christmas Parade and Food Drive
December 7 beginning at 5:30 pm on Big Lake Blvd and then journeying around Big Lake. Come to your driveways, celebrate Christmas, help your neighbors with food needs and wave to Santa.
